An attractive and complete set of Lewis’s landmark work of Christian thought, Mere Christianity, in their original separate issues.

During the Second World War, C.S. Lewis was invited by the BBC to give a series of radio broadcasts on the Christian faith. The result, told not in the tone of academic theology, but in conversational good humour, is one of the most famous and resonant defences of Christianity of the twentieth century.

The talks were published in the three parts present here, in 1942, 1943 and 1944. It was not until 1952 that they were collected into a single volume and published under the title ‘Mere Christianity’.
