First Tudor edition. Quarto. Publisher’s black cloth, lettered gilt to spine, with a white pictorial title label to upper cover, in the original pictorial dustwrapper. Thirty-two plates by Harry Clarke, in colour and black and white.

 

A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, with a fair bit of rubbing touched up in pen, and some tape to verso.

 

The American edition was first publishe by Brentanos in 1919 and then with colour plates in 1923. This Tudor edition followed a decade later.
