A fine set, all seven volumes in excellent condition. The slipcase is a little rubbed and worn, but the books inside are very well-preserved.
 
Due to their early success, The Chronicles Of Narnia were issued by Puffin Books in paperbacks with coloured covers by Pauline Baynes.
 
This began with The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe in 1959, with the rest of the novels following until The Horse And His Boy was published in this format in September 1965.
 
That Christmas, the 1965 printings of each of the novels (and the 1964 of the second) were offered for sale in the slipcase here, marking the first time that the entire series was sold as a complete set.
