First edition. Bound in half purple morocco over marbled purple cloth. Gilt arms of the Maxwell family of Monrieth House to the upper cover. Five raised bands to spine, lettered and decorated in gilt. Marbled endpapers.
 
A very good copy. Some wear to the spine and fading, foxing particularly in the first and last few leaves. Date written on the title page in ink.
