Octavo. Bound in full contemporary blindstamped pigskin, manuscript titles to spine, clasps present but broken. All edges blue. A very good copy.

 

PROVENANCE: According to a contemporary inscription to the front pastedown, this volume was bought by Pater Placidus Ruising for Thierhaupten Abbey in the early 18th century for 50 Kreuzer.Thierhaupten Abbey was a Benedictine monastery in the Augsburg region of Southern Germany.
