In a fine royal binding. Octavo. Bound in full red morocco gilt, with the initials “M.T.” beneath a crown to each cover.
 
A near fine copy, a little rubbing to edges.
 
Though difficult to specify, this was likely bound for one of the Habsburg Maria Theresas of Austria. At the time our volume was published, there were Queens of that name in Sardinia and the Two Sicilies, as well as Archduchess Maria Theresa, Countess of Chambord.
