A bifolium on parchment, c. 590 x 408 mm, with two seven line elaborate initials in black ink and letter spacing to aid intonation. The music is in square notation on five-line staves ruled in red with six lines of lyrics ruled in lead point, c. 273 x 495 mm (ruled), the text is written in black ink, in a rotunda script, with rubrics in red, foliation in the upper margins. The text contains the Communion Verse of the Second Sunday after Epiphany, taken from the Gospel of the Wedding of Cana, John 2, 1:11. The verso of the first leaf opens, ’Servasti bonu[m] vinum usque adhuc:’, (You have kept the good wine until now.).
 
A very good example. Some discolouration and rubbing to the parchment. The upper corner of the last leaf is wanting but no text is impacted. Two shallow chips to the outer margin of the first leaf, no text is impacted.
