A single leaf on parchment, c. 325 x 235 mm, from a Bible with acanthus leaf border decoration. The leaf is ruled in brown ink, c. 220 x 66 mm for two columns of nineteen lines in brown ink in a gothic script, rubrics in red, head-line in red, with two one-line initials, five two-line initials and one three-line initial, two four-line initial in red, highlights in red. Inner margin decoration of acanthus leafs in pink, blue, green, red and gold with gold discs. Parchment tab painted pink to outer margin. The text contains 1 Corinthians 5 which begins with a rubric in red to the lower left column.
 
A very good example. There are eight lines that have been removed from the left hand column and replaced with a different manuscript pasted to the verso. There is general discolouration to the parchment and creasing. Text and decoration rubbed.
