New edition. Folio. Frontispiece portrait of the author, title page printed in red and black, with the French royal arms to the centre. Bound in nineteenth century polished calf, gilt rules to covers, black morocco title label to spine, lettered gilt. All edges speckled red.
 
A very good copy, the binding worn, with a some rubbing to particularly the lower cover. A little staining to early pages internally.
