Octavo. In two volumes. Both books are bound in navy blue calf with gilt borders, five raised bands to spine with red morocco labels, lettered and decorated in gilt. All edges marble. Marbled endpapers.

A very good set. The bindings are very slightly rubbed. Some minor foxing, pages very slightly discoloured.

PROVENANCE: Sir Herbert Maxwell of Monreith (1845–1937) bookplate pasted to pastedown of both volumes. Gift inscription to Maxwell in ink to endpaper in first volume.
