A good copy. Spine rubbed and cocked, slight split to upper hinge, corners rubbed, discolouration throughout. Various annotations and underlining of passages in pencil and ink, some of which has been rubbed out.
 
Bookplate to front pastedown of Andrew Taylor Emerson. Ownership inscription of “Mary Yearnes, London 1848” to second blank. Later ownership inscription to front free endpaper.
