Narrow octavo. Exquisitely bound in full crushed olive green morocco, with a double filet border lined with a decorative floral border in gilt, gilt centrepiece to upper cover. Elaborately fauna and flora decorated turn-ins, silk green moire endpapers. All edges marbled and gilt. Burgundy fabric marker. Housed in a silk lined clamshell burgundy morocco box with a matching gilt centrepiece.

A near fine book in a fair box. Very minor rubbing to corners. Box is broken and lid is detached but is holding by the inner threads, but it has done its job at protecting the book. Inner lining detached from the lid. Extremities rubbed and split.
