First edition in English of Wilde's notorious play, banned in London. Also the first edition to contain Beardsley's illustrations. One of 500 copies on paper. Bound in the publisher's binding of blue buckram, gilt vignettes to each cover and lettered gilt to the spine.
 
A very good copy indeed, very light wear to spine ends, and slightly faded to the spine. An uncommonly attractive copy of a fragile production.
