A single leaf fragment on parchment, c. 484 x 338 mm, with a six line red initial, decorated with a geometric pattern in purple to the recto, and a six line geometric initial to the verso in black ink.
Ruled in lead point, c. 457 x 273 mm (visible), with music in square notation on five-line staves ruled in red with lyrics in black ink in prescissa script and rubrics in red.
The decorated initial to the recto opens the cantus, ‘Egregius dei martyr Vincentius diris’, (’The most excellent martyr of God, Vincent, the terrible one.’) A good example of a large antiphonal leaf, the margins have been cropped, some water damage, some discolouration to the parchment.
