A single leaf fragment on parchment, c. 495 x 306 mm, with a six line red initial, decorated with a geometric pattern in purple.
Ruled in lead point, c. 462 x 276 mm (visible), with music in square notation on five-line staves ruled in red with lyrics in black ink in prescissa script and rubrics in red.
The six letter decorated initial on the recto opens the text for the cantus, ‘Stans Beata Agnes in Medio Flamarum’, (’Blessed Agnes Standing in the Midst of Flames’). A good example of a large antiphonal leaf, the margins have been cropped, there is rubbing to the text, repair to verso, and some water damage.
