A fine Zaehnsdorf exhibition binding. Octavo. Bound in full crushed burgundy morocco, decorated in a repeated design of crosses within wreaths. Marbled endpapers, with gilt inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Signed by Zaehnsdorf to the front inner dentelle, and also with their gilt stamp showing a binder using a backing hammer to the rear pastedown, indicating that this is an exhibition binding.
