A defective, but large, folio edition of Samuel Clarke’s Bible, with many engravings. Folio (431 x 264mm). Bound in modern full red morocco, lettered gilt to spine to style. Remnants of the original spine have been mounted onto card and loosely laid in to rear.
 
Wanting the first two leaves, A1-2, and probably wanting a frontispiece also.
 
Illustrated throughout with maps and illustrations on plates. 
 
A good copy, wanting a couple of leaves as mentioned.
 
The New Testament in the present volume is dated 1813.
