A very good copy, repairs to joints, hinges, and head of the spine. Bookplate to front pastedown.

 

A touching presentation copy of the first edition of Lady Anna Brassey’s final voyage. On that voyage, she contracted malaria en route to Mauritius and died in September 1887. She was buried at sea.
