A fine parallel edition of Sophocles in Latin and Greek. Quarto. Bound in contemporary calf with the arms of the Marquis of Stafford to the upper cover in gilt, and their bookplate to the front pastedown. A very good set, the bindings quite rubbed to the spine ends and edges.

 

PROVENANCE: The Marquis Of Stafford (1721-1803), bound for him, with his arms to the upper covers, and his bookplate to the front pastedowns.
