Quarto. Bound in full contemporary brown calf with a gilt centrepiece Newstead Abbey to the upper cover and a double line gilt border. Five raised bands to spine with a morocco red label with gilt lettering. All edges gilt.

A very good copy. Hinge split but holding. Rubbing to extremities. Some internal discolouring. Inscription cut out of flyleaf. Ownership name in ink to title page.
